I know I’m behind but I just wanted to share a few piccies I took on Easter sunday when we caught up with the family at Lillydale lake for a BBQ.
Here is Tilly and her huge egg that she got from her cousins Amy & Nick-
Don’t worry, she didn’t eat that much of this one (she did happen to sneakily finish off one of Braydon or Tessa’s though 😦
Here are two piccies from the lake of Tilly and Granny-
I am now 22 weeks through the pregnancy and have officially passed halfway. I am feeling pretty good and just suffer from a bit of heartburn and the occasional sore back. Nights are starting to get a little more sleepless as I feel a bit uncomfortable and achy if I sleep in one spot for too long. Here is a photo of my belly last week (21 weeks) –
I have been feeling bubby move a lot more these last two weeks. I have even felt movement from the outside, now just to get Shannon there when bubby is kicking to feel it too. 🙂
We took the side off Matilda’s cot this week. We want to move her into a big bed for her birthday. This will allow us to have bubby in our room in the bassinette until Christmas time then we can put bubs in the cot. That should hopefully be long enough for Matilda to settle into her bed and forget about the cot being hers before bubs gets it. She has done really well so far. The first night she got out of bed at 6:10am but I took her back to bed and she slept til 7:30am. Her day sleep was a little more interesting trying to get her to stay in bed. I only went into her twice though and then she cried for about 2 mins and was asleep (I wasn’t game enough to open the door though to see if she actually stayed on the bed or slept on the folded blanket beside her bed… but she did stay asleep for a little over 1.5 hours so thats great). Last night she got up at 5:45am and I put her back to bed and she woke up at 7:20am for breaky. It’s almost time for her sleep today now so it will be interesting to see how she goes today.
Shannon got up bright and early this morning to head into the city to attend the dawn service for ANZAC day. There were apparently about 40 000 people in attendence this year. He wasn’t able to get any good photos to share as it was too dark to get a clear shot.
I bought Matilda a teatowel yesterday and converted it into a cute little apron for her to wear when she helps me cook now. It turned out great and I am really happy with it. I will take a pic and add it later when I get the camera back. Matilda loves to help me cook but often ends up with stuff all down her front so an apron was just what she needed.
I will be back another time with a photo for you. xxx
